Description
This auction is for 100+ x vinyl reggae and related 12” singles....all records are pictured. Please try to zoom in on titles - apologies but I don’t have time to provide a full list.
All records have been kept upright in dry storage for a number of years and I’m slowly going through breaking up the majority of my collection - so more joblots will follow, hopefully today and then probably on a regular basis. Feel free to check my other listings. There are likely to be 70s/60s/nostalgia and 80s/soul/jazz/country/folk/world.
All of the records have been visually inspected (not test played) prior to listing. Please note for this batch:
* above all else most records will need a clean before use - some are quite dusty etc
* most records I’d say are in good condition - there are a handful where I’ve thought there are some noticeable or feelable marks but not many and there was nothing that I’ve seen which makes me think the record is totally trashed. I’ve left these ones in because I think that might be ok - but just to stress a good clean up will help this lot immeasurably
The pictures above will give you an idea of sleeve conditions. Some sleeves have inners (vast majority don’t!), and some have partial, sometimes both, or full seam splits so will need a bit of loving glue/tape work. Some will have creases, rips, tape, edge or ring wear, the occasional bit of writing and/or sticker removal marks. Generally I think the vast majority are workable and you can get an idea of condition via pics - but most are original releases that have been used and stored so please don’t expect to be 100% perfect.... mixed condition job lot.
Happy for these to either be collected in person or for me to box up and courier out to you, although no returns. I am in London often (near Woolwich) quite often - so pick up from there would be quite easily sorted too. All listings will be put at 99p starting price in order that they find their own level. Much prefer to post within UK but if anyone within Europe is interested please let me know and happy to arrange at your own cost - but please bear in mind that they’re very heavy and are likely to be up to 30kg. I’ve shipped already quite easily to Spain and Eastern Europe and no problems at all.
Apologies for long pre-amble and requisite health warnings. I think they’re a generally good and sound lot but vinyl gradings are visual and often subjective so I’d rather err on the side of caution.
Any questions please dont hesitate to ask but due to time/storage issues, I don’t have a full list and can’t answer any specific questions about individual records (cat no, condition etc)
Hopefully I’ll be putting up quite a few job lots over the next few days/weeks so feel free to keep an eye out on my other listings.
