This listing is for one 10" long play 33 rpm record, released on the Blue Note label featuring the Art Blakey Quintet. This record is volume 1 from a 3 volume live set. The sleeve falls in right around VG. There's some wear at the edges and corners, but it's flat, and has good original gloss. The back cover white space is discolored, as you would expect. I struggled with the rating on the vinyl because this record has the typical wear on the outer half inch of vinyl due to the fact that they didn't come with a paper inner sleeve, so taking the record out of the stiff cardboard sleeve and reinserting it caused the record edge to rub on the sleeve and create some fuzzy noise in the first 30 seconds or minute of each side. It's most notable on side 1 during the intro, but once the music gets going, it sounds really good. Side 2 has a bit of it as well, but is very enjoyable to listen to. I'm calling it VG-, which I think is fair. All in all, this is a nice listening record (not a museum piece) with a really good looking sleeve, and would make a nice addition to anyone's jazz record library.
