Vinyl record Ukrainian folk songs, Marenych Trio, 1977
"Trio Marenich", Trio Marenychiv or Marenichi - a Ukrainian musical group that performed songs in a folk style mainly in the Ukrainian language. The band's repertoire included both folk and original songs, including their own works. Many of the folk songs were arranged by members of the group, mainly Antonina Marenich. The group gained the greatest popularity in the USSR at the end of the 1970s and 1980s. The group broke up in 2004, its members later started solo careers. Composition: Valery Marenich, Antonina Marenich (Sukhorukova), Svitlana Marenich (Sukhorukova). Antonina is Svitlana's sister and Valery's wife.
