Violent Femmes are an American alternative rock band from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, initially active between 1980 and 1987 and again from 1988 to 2009. The band performed as a trio, including: singer, guitarist and songwriter Gordon Gano, bassist Brian Ritchie, and two drummers, Victor DeLorenzo (1980–1993 and 2002–2009) and Guy Hoffman (1993–2002).

The Violent Femmes released eight studio albums and fifteen singles during the course of their career. The band found immediate success with the release of their self-titled debut album in early 1983. It became the band's biggest-selling album and was eventually certified platinum by the RIAA. Violent Femmes went on to become one of the most successful alternative rock bands of the 1980s, selling over 9 million albums by 2005. After the release of their third album The Blind Leading the Naked (1986), the band's future was uncertain and they split up in 1987, when Gano and Ritchie went solo. However, they regrouped a year later, releasing the album 3 (1989). Since then, Violent Femmes' popularity continued to grow, especially in the United States where the songs "Nightmares" and "American Music" cracked the top five on the Modern Rock Tracks chart.

A. A representative of Kompolt will contact the winning bidder via email or phone to congratulate him or her as well as confirm the payment amount and payment instructions. Payment must be in U.S. funds and received within three (3) business days of the close of the auction.

Q. Will a receipt be provided?
A. Yes, a receipt for the final bid amount paid will be provided by Kompolt.

Q. Is there sales tax?
A. Sales tax will not be charged for non-tangible items such as VIP Experiences. Sales tax will be collected for items shipped to residents of: CA (8.0%), NY (7.0%), and TX (6.5%).

Q. Delivery information for auction items and/or VIP experiences.
A. Unless otherwise stated in the auction listing, all items are shipped via Federal Express. Winning bidders must provide a physical address, phone number, and signature for delivery. Any shipments of alcohol must be accepted only by an adult over the age of 21. A signature and photo identification will be required for all shipments of wine. Sorry, we cannot deliver to P.O. boxes. Barring unanticipated circumstances and/or any special fulfillment conditions stated in the above description, the expected delivery time can be up to 3-4 weeks after final payment is received and acknowledged. International bidders will be required to supply a FedEx account number or credit card to cover any duties or taxes.

VIP Experiences - Kompolt will place the winning bidder in communication with a representative from BottleRock Napa Valley within 2 weeks of receipt and confirmation of payment.

Q. Will my item come with a Letter of Authenticity?
A. Yes, a Letter of Authenticity signed by a representative of BottleRock will be provided with all tangible items that have been autographed and/or hold collectible value. Non-tangible items such as VIP Experience auctions will not include a Letter of Authenticity.
