Description
Virgil Warner And Suzi Jane Hokom (LHI Records 1969). Rare original copy of this classic duet album from Lee Hazlewood's legendary LHI label. The mix of mod songstress Hokom's icy cool vocals with Warner's country rockabilly flavor makes for a timeless sound. Visually the record is VG+ with a few light hairlines, a few heavy scuffs, one non-feelable scratch, and a slight storage warp that tracks fine on my 1200. Side one plays VG++ while side two plays VG+. The cover would have been VG but rates as Poor due to the unipak gatefold's top and bottom seams, both of which have become neatly unglued over time. This can be easily repaired with your choice of carefully applied glue. There's seam and spine wear, a price stamped on the back, worn and knocked corners, a cut-out corner cut, and overall heavy wear including some scratches on the front that look like the aftermath of sloppy sticker removal.
Grade Scale: EX, VG++, VG+, VG, G, Poor. All records are play-graded, observed under a light bulb, and checked for warps.
