Description

Boxed set of four extremely rare red 78 RPM records titled "The Virginia Military Institute Glee Club."  Recordings appear to have been made in 1949, as that date is written on inside of front cover, along with "Savannah, GA."  The VMI Glee Club was under the direction of H. N. Dillard, Accompanied by Cadet W. C. Dresser, with a Tenor Solo by Cadet Rawles Fulgham.  Records are in good condition...none are broken or chipped, a few small scratches that could most likely be cleaned up.  Boxed sleeve has some nicks & tears.  Recordings are: "The VMI Spirit"; "Stouthearted Men"; "Tutti venite armati"; "It Ain't Necessarily So"; "Carry Me Back to Old Virginny"; "You'll Never Walk Alone"; "The Pilgrims' Chorus"; "Adoramus Te, Christe" (We adore Thee, O Christ); "Miserere mei, Deus" (Have Mercy Upon Me, O Lord).  Free shipping.
