Description

An original 1st UK press of Viva! on Island records. Matrix A1/B2. Etching 'Blair' - indicative of 1st issue. The vinyl comes housed in an original laminated gatefold cover. We also have the original black Island inner with pink St Peter's address. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex+) In lovely condition and has seen precious little use. Under close inspection I could only make out a couple of very light mark per side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT+ level of playback. If you're looking for a top level player through and through... well done! you just found it. Don't risk a dud - get the best copy you can afford! There's little to take issue with here. Intros and inbetweens are lovely and quiet and the audio comes across with excellent clarity. Interference is pretty much totally absent. It plays really clean into those really quiet instrumental sections - e.g. "Chance Meeting" & "Something". And importantly - it plays clean consistently. I couldn't detect more than a couple of crackles in a couple of isolated spots per side. An absolute belter!
Cover (Ex/Ex+) Pristine in all respects. Very shiny flat and uncreased surfaces back and front - highly impressive. A slight imprint of text on the front - but only observable tilted into the light. The interior is absolutely perfect. Barely any edge wear to speak of the opening are still sharp. The spine is 100% intact - really nice. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity. Can't imagine go any better than this example really. FINAL UPGRADE.
Inner (Ex) Really nice condition with a couple of creases. No signs of wear or splitting. Poly-bag intact.
