Description
This is the very rare late-'40s RCA Red Seal (DM-1249) folio edition of Horowitz playing Moussorgsky. There are 4 shellac 78s in this set--all are glossy with no cracks or fractures. I haven't cleaned the discs--so as good as they look in the pictures they might end up looking better when dusted off. They should play well, though obviously I can't guarantee what'll happen when you place these on your turntable.
This is the only set available on eBay right now. In fact, it might be the only set available anywhere online.
I've taken pictures of every aspect of the set, including the A and B side of each disc. Please ask any questions that you might have. Serious and discerning collectors should feel welcome to request more pictures.
Shipping is FREE in the continent of North America. I will swaddle the set in bubble wrap or styrofoam and mail the package tracked and expedited in a large box. I don't want these to be damaged in transit.
