This is a nice vintage portable record player made by Vanity Fair. It is self-contained in a heavy cardboard red carrying case with a red & white striped lid. It has a white plastic handle and silver metal hardware. Inside, the turntable, needle, and on-off switch are all white. The turntable has an adapter in the center that changes its ability to play different sized (different speed) records. This record player still works well..I was dazzling my 25 year old son with its tone and volume!

Rex, Get It On/Bang A Gong; Alive & Kicking, Tighter, Tighter; Carpenters, For All We Know;The Neighborhood, Big Yellow Taxi; Mungo Jerry, In The Summertime; The Surfaris, Wipe Out; Three Dog Night, Joy To The World; Dawn, Knock Three Times; The Jackson 5, Never Can Say Goodbye; The Osmonds, Double Lovin'; Simon & Garfunkel, Cecilia;The Carpenters, Close To You; Brook Benton, Nothing Can Take The Place Of You; The New Seekers, I'd Like To Teach The World To Sing; Bread, Everything I Own; Bread, Diary; Raiders, Indian Reservation; Paul Simon, Mother & Child Reunion; The Beatles, Let It Be; Gary Wright, Love Is Alive; The Sylvers, Boogie Fever; Olivia Newton-John, If You Love Me; Wings, Listen To What The Man Said; The Guess Who, Laughing; and the Eagles, One Of These Nights. There are also 6 with dust jackets. They include: Elton John, Someone Saved My Life Tonight; WAR, Why Can't We Be Friends?; Styx, Midnight Ride; Julie, One Fine Day; Bread, Baby I'm A Want You; and Biddu Orchestra, Summer of '42.  All of these records are in used, but still playable condition. Some of the labels have the prior owner's name in ink or pencil, and a few labels have tears in the paper. The dust jackets are in nice shape, with light wear but no major damage.

The player itself is in good to very good condition. The cardboard case is soiled/discolored from age & storage. It has scratches and wear to the edges and corners. The white plastic carrying handle and the silver metal hardware are in fine usable shape. Inside, the turntable, adapter, needle, needle rest, and on/off/volume button are all in good working order. Nothing appears to be broken, cracked or weak. The plug & cord are very good. The needle plays great, but the quality leaves something to be desired... The record carrying case is only in ok shape. It has a broken corner on the lid and writing, stains, & wear to the green paper covering on the cardboard. We had so much fun preparing these items for sale. It was truly a nostalgic trip down memory lane, and it was also interesting to see how many songs my son knew, even though he's from a different generation ( I think being a band geek helped him!).
