Victor 17081

Play-graded using a 1970's BSR record player, 33/45/78 with a stylus for 78 rpm records. 

 

Al Jolson: Movin’ Man Don’t Take My Baby Grand/Ragging the Baby to Sleep—both recorded on April 17, 1912.

 

Light to moderate amount of scuffs and scratches; wear to label (from trying to place the record on the spindle—my guess) that is not immediately noticeable. Surface could probably stand a cleaning.

 

Movin' Man: hardly any surface noise; Jolson's voice comes through loud and clear. E-/E

Ragging the Baby to Sleep: light surface noise; same as before as to clarity of Jolson's voice V++/E-
