Vocalion 78 rpm No. 1039 from 1926 with generic brown sleeve
Side A: Dewey Jackson's Peacock Orchestra

Side B: Floyd Campbell, vocal
with Piano by J. Lovinggood & cornet by Dewey Jackson

This is not a mint or audiophile copy - it is a well used copy that I will describe to the best of my ability.
The record has significant scuffing and light non-sounding scratches on both sides.
Each side starts out with crackle but settles down to a used record surface noise for the balance of the selection.
The music always overcomes the background surface sound. The record is not badly worn- it has just not been
looked after properly and was probably missing a sleeve for many years.
I heard three light sounding ticks on the A side and none on the B side.
Both sides are well recorded and this is a fair playing copy- I think
you will be impressed with the performances and the sound...
