Description

Although born in Montana, Peggy English and her family were in New York City by the early 1920s.  She recorded prolifically for about three years (1925-28) on various labels, including Vocalion.  She dropped out of sight but then staged a comeback in 1933 recording a couple of tunes for the new Bluebird label.  About her activities after that, not too much is known.    This Vocalion, recorded in the fall of 1926, couples "Tomorrow Mornin'" and "You Wouldn't Believe Me."  Condition E-
