Description

Vocalion 15555, Traymore Orchestra - Soliloquy / Tuxedo Dance Orchestra - Doll Dance this is a very rare Duke Ellington, V+,  I'm Finding the Long Way Home / Where the Sweet Forget-Me-Nots Remember, V+, with scuffs but lots of shine, plays nice.  ONE OF DUKE's SCARCER sides, issued at the Traymore Orch only on Vocalion 15000 series. This session is one of the comparative few that the great Harlem trumpeter June Clark can be heard to good advantage. Pretty scarce. (Flip is Carl Fenton's Doll Dance). This record has only been on eBay 4 times, and is hard to find.
