Vogue Sav-Way Mercury 5054 5055 RARE DJ Picture Disc Record With Sleeve 78 RPM Vic Damone Two Ton Baker VG+. Made by Sav-Way, the company that made Vogue Picture records. Side 5055 Two Ton Baker Doing Kokomo Indiana, side 5056 Vic Damone Doing You Do. Record visually graded. Did not play grade to preserve graphics. Has some light marks (scratches, scuffs) that can only be seen upon close inspection. No deep scratches chips or cracks. Colors are vivid. Labels near mint. Features "Cartoon Eddie" logo Includes RARE matching original Mercury record sleeve in very good condition with storage wear on top and bottom. One side has small "Betty" inscribed in ink. See pictures for more detail. Vogue Recording made records for Mercury. Never were for sale. Given to radio disc jockeys in the hopes that the disc jockeys would play and push the sales of these records. Mercury highlighted information about the artist on the record so that the disc jockey could read off the record to his audience.  Mercury's are rarer than Vogues.  PLEASE NOTE> Found another "Cartoon Eddie" logo paper sleeve in better condition (bolder color crisper paper) that will replace one in pictures.
