Description
Vogue Picture Record Album V-100, A Study in Blue, including records R -725 - Alice Blue Gown and Rhapsody in Blue, Part I, and R-726, Blue Skies, and Rhapsody in Blue Part II, performed by the Hour of Charm All Girl Orchestra, Phil Spitalny director. The set is complete, with the album box, two records and two pull out dividers with top labels, all the parts in very good to very good + condition, with minor wear as noted.
The album box is intact, the cover graphic and spine title complete, as seen. There is a line of shelf wear along the top and bottom edge of the front cover; a 2-1/2" crack in the paper surface, bottom center; paired 1" dents to the top edge, center left; and age darkening to the margins of the back cover.
The pull-out dividers are both intact and unworn apart from age toning to the paper surface.
Both records are in similar VG to VG+ condition, with some wear from playing, (Blue Skies and Rhapsody...Part I somewhat more than the other two sides), and other wear as described, most of which is noticeable only in bright, slanting light. All four sides present well visually.
Disc R-725, Alice Blue Gown: some light scuff marks in the upper right quadrant; several long, but light scratch lines. Rhapsody in Blue Part I: light scratch marks, and two areas where the top surface of the groove appears dented in spots, possibly a production flaw - see photo detail for example.
Disc R-726, Blue Blue Skies: sections with noticeable groove wear, numerous light scratches, upper half; dented spots above woman's wrist - see photo detail. Rhapsody in Blue Part II: scattered light scratches, and a 1" scuffed line in the groove, top center.
This album will be shipped at cost at an estimated packaged weight of 2 to 3 pounds via Media Mail or Priority Mail (US destinations), or First Class Mail International or Priority Mail International, at the buyer's preference.
