These are from my late Mother-in-Law’s collection. There are MINIMAL SURFACE scratches ONLY, and the pictures are very colorful. I am combing a Common Vogue and a Popular Vogue in this auction, as these are the only two I have. In the next few weeks, I will be listing several vintage 78s that she also had in her collection.
After researching GOOGLE for these records, I found the following excerpt I wanted to share with you:
Here are some retail price estimates that can serve as a guide; we're assuming good or better condition. We'll start with the individual records:
- Very common records such as R707 and R733: $30 - $40
- Common records (those not specifically listed here): $55 - $75
- The "popular" Vogues such as R712, R724, R750, or R751: $100-150
- The "double number" Vogues such as R711/R713, R725/R726: $100-150
- Hard to find records such as R747, R748: $200-250
- Uncommon records such as R711: $500 or more
- Rare records such as R713 and R715: $2,000 or more
- Extremely rare records such as R784: $5,000 or more
- Test pressings, early prototypes: varies greatly
Note: If your record is not explicitly listed here, it falls into the "common records" category shown above, with an approximate value of $55 - $75.
