All records listed are in no less than EX condition (see above for actual grading). In some cases I may list a very rare record at a lesser grading but this will be described in detail. All items are graded conservatively according to Record Collectors Grading System Record Collectors Grading system (outlined at end of listing)

Brief description of item

Sammy Price's Bluesicians. A super RARE 1955 Vogue label release. Deep groove (microgroove) heavyweight vinyl. Vogue records limited 113-115 Fulham road - London -Sw3 - England

As far as I can see, this is the only one listed worldwide right now!

The cover has is a flipback tabbed design all tabs intact. Clarifoil laminated cover (one) small part of wear, detatchment on the front cover to the left of spine. Intact spine at the side, with no splitting. The back cover is fully legible & clear, very clean for the age. No dust or damp here. The side loading cover has no feathering & has remained almost as new. Rare in cases like the design of these to remain intact & have as little wear.

The labels are spotless VOGUE microgroove 33rpm Pink/White/Black. No ripping, tearing, or faded print. Spotless clean & impressive. No handwritten names in ink or biro. MINT condition on both the -A- & -B- sides. No spindle wear is present. Inspected under bright light I can't see even one hairline spindle visable.

The inner is the original thin ricepaper style. INCREDIBLE to have this without any damage. Note : It has a flipback hand fold on each of one of the corners. has prevented any ripping or tearing. This fits snugly within the main cover. I have the record still stored ina safe place within this part. And will replace for transit with a spare white dust inner (pictured here).

Also on the inner - MADE IN ENGLAND printed & some handwritten numbers in pen. 12027 this is just the matching catalogue number.

The actual record is in amazing MINT yes MINT shape. Its virtually BRAND NEW!! for a release from 1955 that's astonishing. No scratched marks, no ingrained dust, no needle thrashing, no warping of the disc, this sits 100% perfectly flat on any surface or turntable. No nail scuffs, or anything else that you can possibly think of to impare the record or to list as a negative. Plays like new & sounds GREAT! no pops, distortion, ticks, skip-backs, a MINT record here. great appearance & perfect audio. A fantastic offer NOT ONE TO MISS!

Record is now stored outside of the main sleeve, inside a brand new polythene protector.

Record will be packed in a tough custom box DEFENDAPACK mailer as shown in the photos below. The mailer has a locking tab. The record will be placed outside its cover and inside a brand new polythene protector between two card stiffeners and sealed at the top with fragile marked masking tape. Items are labelled "handle with care".

Mint (M) The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet. booklet or poster are in perfect condiition. Records marked as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

Excellent (EX) The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

Very Good (VG) The record has obviously been played many times, but displayes no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects is acceptable

Good (G) The record has been played so much that the sound quality has notceably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc

Fair (F) The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

Poor (P) The record will not play properly due to scratched, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing Bad (B) The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler

CD's and CASSETTES As a general rule CD's and Cassettes either play perfectly - inwhich case they are in Mint condition - or they don't, in which case their value is minimal. Cassette tape is liable to deteriorate with age, even if it remains unplayed, so care should be taken when buying old tapes. CD's are difficult to grade visually; they can look perfect but actually be faulty, while in other cases they may appear damaged but still play perfectly. Cassette and CD inlays and booklets should be graded in the same way as record covers and sleeves. In general, the plastic containers for cassettes and CDs can easily be replaces if they are broken or scratched, but card covers and digipaks are subject to the same wear as record sleeves
