Description

You are bidding on a Vogue The Picture Record number R766 by The Kings Jesters. This is stamped VOGUE SECOND. It appears that one side did not get fully covered with vinyl when the grooves were cut. Small 3 inch section with thinner vinyl but you can still see the grooves cut into the paper. Songs include Sepulveda (Matrix #118-1B) and Gwan Home Your Mudder's Callin' (Matrix #117-1A). These are very limited records and were only made for two years 1946 - 1947 by Sav Way Industries of Detroit MI. A unique production method starting with a metal plate as the core, then a picture applied, vinyl poured and grooves cut. Nearly unbreakable. Colors are strong and vibrant. This disc does have marks and scratches but NO chips or cracks and is over 70 years old. An excellent collectible. Thanks for looking and bidding.
