Original rare FIRST ISSUE 1947 edition of MUSIC OUT OF THE MOON, a 10" 3-record box set (includes all 3 records) by Capitol Criterion: Music Out Of The Moon, Music Unusual Featuring the Theremin, Themes by Harry Revel. Theremin with vocal group and orchestra conducted by Leslie (Les) Baxter. Catalogue CC-47. This is not a reissue, it is the first release!
Condition: Used and preowned with imperfections like edge wear and scuffs to outer case, some faint age marks and normal discoloration to inner paper flaps, and edge wear to inner slipcases. Records all look great with only faint, if any, signs of play. Case measures about 12" x 10.5" inches, and about 0.75" inches thick. Selling as-is; see pics for more details. 
Music Out of the Moon: Music Unusual Featuring the Theremin - Themes by Harry Revel (Capitol CC-47) is an album consisting of six songs on three 10-inch, 78 rpm records by bandleader Les Baxter and composer Harry Revel with theremin player Dr. Samuel J. Hoffman released on Capitol in April 1947. Music Out of the Moon is considered the best-selling theremin record of all time.
