Summary: This chi-town produced wax that’s sax driven with this obscure sister, Bonnie Lee sounds like she's all fired-up cause her man is getting’ out of stir. Hell while Janis’ was wailing with Big Brother in the bay area while at the same time in the windy city its the sound of Jimmy Jazz Reese’s Ebony’s Recording Band with Tiger Wells, and the Jazz Blues Kings with Bonnie Lee is being played in a bar on the south side- 3 plays for a quarter. Also you could see the “Bombshell” dance & sing in Chicago clubs with pianist Sunnyland Slim in the mid 60’s.  Bonnie Lee’s next record Black But Beautiful was cut in the mid 60’s for Ebony with Fast Life once again as a B-side. Her first full length vinyl 12” Album “Sweetheart of the Blues” was released on Chicago’s Delmark Records label in 1995. Bonnie “Bombshell” Lee died in 2006. My Man’s Coming Home is quite collectible on the crimson Ebony label with the discontinued drill hole more often than the scarlet red Ebony 7”.
