Description
TALES FROM DR FEELGOOD
Genuine vintage paperback booklet, 24.9cm x 17.9cm, 20 pages. The introduction includes “Hope you enjoy the tour and thanks for coming!”, it is believed that it was acquired at a concert in the 1970s.
The booklet contains stories illustrated with cartoons; a four-page article entitled ‘The Breeding of Dr Feelgood’; photos in black-and-white and in colour; and a page of ‘Rock’n’roll’ picture puzzles. It includes contributions from Petagno, Hamish, and Hugo Williams.
Condition: Pages tightly bound; staples slightly rusted in the middle, with minor seepage of colour in to the adjacent paper. Pages free of inscriptions; clean apart from pale foxing to the margins and within a band about 3.5cm wide along the top of some pages, with mild foxing to the left-hand side of the centre spread and to the picture on the reverse of the same leaf. Pages have shallow dimples due to page-turning; shallow creasing to the inner and outer corners (max 3cm) and deeper creasing to the corners of a few leaves (max 9.9cm).
Cover clean apart from mild foxing to the outside and inside front; with a corner crease (9.9cm) and several smaller creases (max 3.5cm to the front; a few creases to the back (max 5.9cm); a few shallow dimples due to handling;
indentations; rubbing to the ‘spine’ and slight rubbing/a few very small tears to the edges; a small tear to the base of the ‘spine’ (0.7cm); and rubbing/waviness to the inner corner of the front and back (max 5.8cm x 3.4cm), incorporating a small area missing from the upper edge of the back (max 1.2cm x 0.8cm) and a small hole along the ‘spine’ (max 0.4cm x 0.3cm).
