Description

Vintage Radio Documentary WHERE WERE YOU in WWII
Three Audiodisc Records recorded at 33 RPM (and the last side is someone singing opera)
I came across these records a few years ago and found them fascinating to listen to.  They are five sides of what sounds like an audio documentary recorded off the radio maybe in the 1950s.  The title is something like "Where Were You December, 1941
I was unsure of the order they are supposed to be played in, and it's all recorded at 33 RPM.  One side covers the events of 1937 to 1938, another side is when the war starts, another side goes through the time before FDR dies, another side includes FDR's death, and the second to last side covers the events of when the war ended.
The documentary is full of dramatic narration, sound effects, voice clips (FDR, Will Rogers, and more), and other voiceovers. It's all very interesting to listen to.
The last side is a home recording of a lady singing opera arias to piano at 78 RPM.
The audio does sound pretty scratchy throughout all sides, mostly due to the scratches and blemishes on all sides.  But it is completely listenable and enjoyable.
