Description

Up for auction is an original set of 15 V-Disc records dating from WWII. The set of records come in their original shipping box. The box has the original labels and all the records are in their original sleeves. Here are the record numbers and titles: #546 CBS Symphony on bothsides, #547A CBS Symphony & 547B Jascha Heifetz, #548A Jose Iturbi on bothsides, #549A Aandre Kostelanetz & 549B Victor Young, #550A Hoagy Carmichael & 550B Josh White, 551A Spike Jones and his City Slickers & 551B Dick Liebert, 552A Woody Herman & 552B Count Basie, 553A Sam Donahue & 553B George Paxton, 554A Louis Prima & 554B Bob Crosby, 555A Eight Squares and a Critic & 555B Connee Boswell, 556A Benny Goodman & 556B Martha Tilton, 557A Bing Crosby & 557B Sgt. Sy Oliver, 558A Duke Ellington & 558B Randy Brooks, 559A Evelyn Knight & 559B Henry Wells and 560A Artie Shaw & Monica Lewis. I am not a record expert on record grading but all these are in excellent shape. No cracks, no chips, no scratches and all appear they have very little use. Most appear they have never been played! I really think these are as nice as you will find. All the labels are perfect with no issues. Very rare complete set to find in their original box and are a must for any collector.
