one of the best ever released by Lloyd Barnes...SHOWCASE STYLEEEE...vocal followed by dubversion...includes Chosen Brothers' "March Down Babylon", the superior first cut of Noel Delahaye's "Mystic Revellation", Leroy Sibbles' "This World", Joe Auxumite's "Home To Africa", Jezzreel's "Love Of My Life", Wayne Jarrett's "Darling Your Eyes" as well as Horace Andy killer re-work of his 70s Bunny Lee-produced "Serious Thing"...all killer NO filler...and the best thing: THIS IS THE ORIGINAL FIRST PRESS...NO ras-claat re-issue-bizz here...coming in its original cardboard-sleeve...first is first and second is nutting, I tell ya...essential...
WAX condition: ex / ex, both sides look just great, plays pop-a-top and crisp in any way...Serious T'ing-styleeee...
LABEL condition: A-side just perfect / B-side just perfect - watch the scan, please!
SLEEVE condition: HEAVY HEAVY CARDBOARD-SLEEVE fine, some light general wear especially at the seams, very light ringwear...
Something 'bout Sound + Vision: We shouldn't rely on visual appearance alone - therefore these records are graded after their visual appearance and their sound quality! I personally prefer a record with crackling but strong sound + punch to one playing clean but with surface noise from the pressing (as we find with re-pressed discs - too - often). Grading records is a very subjective thing but I try hard to be objective as a human being can be (yes indeed, this seller is a human being).
And that’s my Vinyl Grading Scale:
EX (= really great - EX means "excellent", really...)
VG (= nice, if you don't have an excellent one - by the way: VG means "very good"...)
G (= playable, but you might find a better one - G means "good", but this term may be a bit euphemistic to reggae-vinyl-novices. Be realistic: a record graded G doesn't jump nor stick, but that's the best I can say about it...)
P (= just a collection-filler for the hard-edged + hardest-boiled collectors + selectors + all the rudegals out there - P stands for "poor", yunno...)
