This is an auction for the HMV SET, Wagner- Die Walkure- Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra- Conducted by Wilhelm Furtwangler.

This set was released by HMV Records and has catalogue number ALP1257-61. This is the 1st press set with Red labels and Gold Lettering.

Condition:

Record 1- ALP1257- The sleeve has a touch of buffing to the very corners and a couple of tiny discolour marks to the rear only- Spine and all edges are Ex- Flipback edges Ex- No tears- Bends- Creases- It retains the stunning Cream finish- Sleeve graded at Ex ( near mint ). Labels and Vinyl immaculate- no spindle marks on this unplayed record- the vinyl is graded at MINT.

Record 2- ALP1258- The sleeve is even better than the one above with only a touch of buffing to the very corners- No discolour marks and as new- Graded at Ex+ ( as near mint as poss ). The labels and vinyl are again flawless- one tiny spider spindle mark can be seen under the closest of examinations on side 4, but this is being ultra fussy it is new and has been played once- The vinyl is graded at MINT.

Record 3- ALP1259- The sleeve is again in top condition with only a touch of buffing to the very corners- No discolour or any other fault and again graded at Ex+ ( near mint ). No spindle marks on this one- both sides are immaculate in every way- Graded at MINT.

Record 4- ALP1260- Sleeve Ex+ ( near mint ) as above- No spindle marks side 7. Side 8 has two tiny spider spindle marks only seen under the strongest of lights- The vinyl is flawless on both sides and as new- This one is also graded at MINT.

Record 5- ALP1261- What can I say sleeve again like new and graded at Ex+ ( near mint )- The vinyl and labels are simply stunning- one tiny spider spindle mark on side 9, none side ten, this again is graded at MINT.

All records come with their original inners. You can not find this set in any better condition, I'm certain that all traders would grade this at mint through out. A must for the serious collector and a true investment. Any questions please email.
