SHIPPING & HANDLING –

MEDIA MAIL is $4 for the first item. Delivery time for Media Mail is usually pretty prompt but occasionally it can take several weeks to reach the west coast. In late-November and December Media Mail can be very slow because it is treated as 4th class mail and so many other packages take priority over it.

PRIORITY MAIL & MULTIPLE PURCHASES - shipping costs will need to be determined after the auction end because they are based on weight and zipcode.

COMBINED SHIPPING: I do combine other LP orders to save on shipping so see my other LP auctions. Your LPs will be shipped in a new cardboard LP mailer box with a cardboard insert. Feel free to request additional inserts or to make special packaging requests at an additional charge for materials and added postage, but please make these special requests BEFORE paying. Please note that shipping & handling costs are a little higher than the actual postage because they include charges for new shipping materials, etc.

SHIPPING & HANDLING - Shipping costs will need to be determined after the auctions end for this item, for all multiple-lp box sets and for multiple purchases. Box sets weigh more than their individual lp equivalents because their boxes and booklets add weight and I base my shipping and handling charges on the exact weight of your items.

If your package weighs less than 4 pounds and your total purchase (single item or multiple items) costs less than $75, then you will have a choice between First Class International (airmail, no tracking number, no insurance available) and Priority Mail International (airmail shipment, some insurance included).

Packages weighing over 4 pounds and total purchases valued above $75 must ship Priority Air Mail. NOTE: If your single item or total purchase is over $75 then shipping MUST be by insured priority mail for your protection as well as mine.

Also please note that shipping & handling costs are a little higher than the actual postage because they include charges for new shipping materials, etc.

Because of the high cost of international shipping, the seller offers First Class Airmail but does not recommend it because it is untrackable and uninsured.

ARRIVAL TIME - Airmail packages often take 7-10 days to arrive in most countries, but several weeks is not unusual. Delivery is often slowed down by your country’s customs office. Buyers in ITALY should note that the Italian postal and customs system is very slow and airmail & priority airmail packages can often take several weeks or up to 2 months to arrive.

To give you an idea of the starting point for international shipping charges, a SINGLE LP ships for $17 First Class International or $31 Priority Mail International (Canada $9/$21). 2 SINGLE LPS ship for $20 First Class International or $32 Priority Mail International (Canada $11/$22). 3 SINGLE LPS ship for $27 First Class International or $36 Priority Mail International (Canada ($15/$23). 4 SINGLE LPS ship for $30 First Class International or $41 Priority Mail International (Canada $17/$25).

PROVENANCE : This item came from a large collection that I purchased. It was owned by a serious collector with homes in NY and London and was part of a huge collection containing a lot of import titles. The condition on most of the collection was amazing – there were so many records that over half of them were never opened (still factory sealed). It also became apparent that this collector would often buy two copies of a record (from the same store), open and listen to one copy and keep the other copy sealed. Take a look at the rest of my current listings and take advantage of this opportunity to get some other fine recordings.

GRADING :

NM (+/-), E (+/-), VG (+/-)

Lps are visually graded and then quickly sound-tested in various spots. I try to check visible marks to see if they make noise, and significant scuffs or scratches are usually mentioned in the description. Lps have NOT been listened to in their entirety, so it is very possible that there will be noise not mentioned in the description. In general I recommend cleaning all lps before playback, as they may not have been machine cleaned.

NM+ usually means the lp looks new and plays with no noise in the areas I sound tested.

NM usually have no marks and play with little noise.

NM- might have some sleeve residue, minor surface wear/noise or minor scuffs (usually but not always noted).

NM/NM- means the lp looks NM but plays NM- with occasional light surface noise.

E may show light wear or light surface marks and it will have some surface noise.

VG will have wear and marks and play with considerable surface noise.

Jackets - I try to mention significant damage like seam splits, writing and corner creases, but most jackets will show some minor signs of age or shelf wear, even jackets rated NM. NM+ jackets are usually new or in original plastic.

Items are sold AS-IS with no returns/refunds, though significant mistakes by the seller will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Please take this into consideration when buying cheap clearance/budget fixed price (Buy-It-Now) or auction items that have starting prices of 99cents to $4 or items that are graded below NM. I have established a reputation, especially in the quality-conscious classical record community, as a top seller with fair prices, excellent packaging, super-fast shipping, and often better-than-stated condition.
