Description
Wagner- Ring Cycle conducted by Solti, original UK Stereo London FFrr Recording from 1958. The box is comprised of CAT#'s OSA 1309, OSA-1508, OSA-1509 and OSA 1604. Very scarce and sought after original pressing in virtually immaculate condition.
One of the inner boxes, Siegfried is still sealed, the remaining LPs in the 3 remaining sets are across the board MINT or MINT- (full luster and shine and without a mark, scratch or blemish) with the exception of disc 3 from Das Rheingold which I'd grade at NM as it has 3 light and inaudible marks/hairlines.
The outer box is VG+, light corner wear with some light scratches/tears on the front (visible in photo). There is some wear and splitting on the right/opening side around the slot for the book, almost all the way split on the far right(once again this should be clearly visible in the photo). Other than that there is one tear mark, looks like from scotch tape on the upper left back. Very nice and well preserved copy!
Inner boxes are all MINT, with the exception of Das Rheingold which has a light ding/crease on the lower bottom edge, NM.
The James Culshaw book is MINT-, one 1/2 inch tear and crease to the dust-sleeve.
