Rare original pressing 2LP boxset released in 1962 on maroon Philips "Hi-Fi Stereo" label... catalognumber 835 178/180-AY.
This set was well taken care of over the years: the heavy box, the 30-page libretto booklet and vinyl LPs are all in pristine NEARMINT/ MINT condition and the labels are absolutely clean - one can also tell by the few spindlemarks that this set was rarely played... Great performance and superb sound - for fans of e.g. Decca, 'shaded dog' RCA Living Stereo, Mercury, 'red stereo' Deutsche Grammophon, Philips Hi-Fi Stereo, Melodiya, Archiv, EMI, HMV, UHQR, MFSL, Speakers Corner, Classic Records, DCC, Testament ...etc. See photo...
