Description
WALRUS LP RECORD FROM 1970
Walrus came from the UK, and peddled a jazzy/blues based ware, with a horn section that doesn’t really overpower the rest of the band. Noel Greenaway has a rough vocal style, reminiscent of Captain Beefheart on a track like ‘Blind Man’. Most of the material is self-penned, apart from a cover of Traffic’s ‘Coloured Rain’, and most of it is very polished jazzy sound. ‘Why’ is a particularly nice song, with flute to the fore, and ‘Turning’ is a funky blues number.

this record is the best part of 40 years old so hence condition!
Cover has corner cut on one side on reverse (approx one cm either edge), edges are unglued all way round and there's some creasing along edges
Inner sleeve is plastic lined and has liver spots, a couple of creases where it's folded over vinyl and a small tear down edge approx 5 cms long
Record is really heavy thick vinyl and does have minor scratches and scuffs plus a large scuff across two tracks. I haven't got a record player so can't test it.
