This record is in excellent+ condition. It has no obvious spindle marks visible on the labels and there are no pen marks, scuffs or any other damage such as stains or fading. Overall the labels are clean, bright and in really nice condition with little to report.
As for the vinyl itself, both sides are very clean overall and have a lovely vivid lustre. There is a light scratch showing lightly on side 2 and a few other minor wispy lines but these are minor and cannot be felt. Other than the light line on side 2 there is generally little showing in normal light. Under bright light there is a few other traces of age/handling and also some 'blotchy areas' near the outside edge. These are all incredibly minor however and overall considering the vinyl is over 50 years old it is in really nice condition.
I play tested the record and it played really well and sounded great throughout with nice clarity and minimal surface noise or interference. It lays flat and upon playing there is little to no movement in the record arm. The sound produced is excellent with no distortion caused by excessive use and of course no skips, sticks or annoying clicks. The light line mentioned above on side 2 has no affect at all and overall it was a pleasure to play test. It played great throughout with nice clarity, easy to follow dialogue and no unwanted interference of any sort.
The gatefold sleeve is in excellent+ condition. It has no major wear or rubbing to the edges and corners with the writing along the spine all clearly legible. There are of course no splits or serious areas of wear and no tears, scuffs or pen marks anywhere. There is maybe a hint of creasing along the edges and a slight amount on the corners but nothing at all serious. There is no major ring marks and inside the gatefold has its booklet securely attached(although it is slightly at an angle). The only thing to mention bar the slightest signs of age already mentioned would be that there is some very slight age spots showing to the left side of the rear. These are not hugely noticeable however and overall the sleeve is in really good condition considering its age. Please study the pictures provided to gain as much information as possible on its condition.
It includes its original plain white inner which is in excellent+ condition. This has no splits, tears or pen marks and just slight and minor signs of age/handling.
The record will be packaged in cardboard stiffeners and bubble wrapped thoroughly when dispatched. It will also be sent in a brand new protective plastic sleeve, and within 24hrs of receiving payment to try to ensure a swift delivery.
