Original 1973 quadraphonic pressing in outstanding condition! NOT A REISSUE. One of the best releases from the legendary Black Jazz label. Includes the killer spiritual jazz tracks "Keeper Of My Soul", "Sweet Rosa" & "Soul Village". The personnel: Walter Bishop, Jr./keyboards; Ronnie Laws/reeds; Gerald Brown/bass & Fender; Shakur M. Abdulla/conga & bongos; Bahir Hassan/drums; Woody Murray (Sumtunji)/vibes. The vinyl is in phenomenal vg++ to m- condition (beautiful sheen). with only few hairlines and 2 superficial scratches! The textured cardboard cover is in superb shape and displays wonderfully with just a slight hint of wear. Small promo hole in upper left corner. small upper left corner ding. a circular scratch which i cant really describe, see picture! NO seam splits, NO writing. strong vg++ close to m-! The songs are: Soul Village; N'Dugu's Prayer; Summertime; Those Who Chant; Keeper Of My Soul; Blue Bossa; Sweet Rosa.
