TITLE: WALTER LEIGH- CONCERTINO FOR HARPSICHORD
LABEL: LYRITA SRCS 126

RECORD INFO: A TAS SuperDisc List LP. This is a Lyrita Nimbus Pressing. Performance of the CONCERTINO FOR HARPSICHORD is outstanding. LP IS FROM AN AUDIOHPILE's COLLECTION. NM condition for disc. Disc appears to be unplayed. Beautiful copy.

Here a quick summary:
1. Decca Pressings- Have flat labels and a number stamped in the runout groove in block letters typical of any Decca pressing – ZLY XXXX 1A/B (for side 1 and 2)
2. Nimbus Pressings- All have a raised ring under the outside edge of the label. If Nimbus made the metal parts used to stamp the LPs you will see “Nimbus England” also stamped in the runout with the catalogue number SRCS XXX instead of ZLY XXXX. If Nimbus used Decca made metal parts to stamp the LP then they will have hand carved numbers identical to the Decca numbers starting ZLY. You will not see “Nimbus England”, but they are Nimbus. The 2004 & 2006 Rare Classical Record Guides They claim that the “Nimbus England” stamp is the only identifier for Nimbus pressings.
3. EMI Pressings- A third pressing, often attributed to EMI, have flat labels and stamped (not hand carved) numbers in the runout.

My Grading Scale:
M Mint- usually reserved for sealed records.
Near Mint (NM)- Has an unplayed appearance with shinning grooves. No spindle marks.
Excellent (EX)- Quality item with only one or two insignificant defects, not affecting play.
VG++ (or NM-)- Extremely nice, would be NM except for a few light hairline scratches or scuffs which do not affect play.
VG+ - A nice but used record that may have a series of light scuffs or scratches. It may play with a few pops or ticks but no serious problems.
VG- A well-used record that still sounds OK but may have moderate surface noise, pops, etc.
VG- A very worn record that plays through without skipping that will do until a better copy comes along!
