SUPER SCARCE / RARE (actually, I've NEVER seen another copy, not sure how many of these they made) SPANISH version of Jeff Wayne's "War Of The Worlds" from 1978. The narration on the English version of this was read by Richard Burton (!), and there are two different Spanish versions, one read by Anthony Quinn (!!) and this version, read by Spanish actor Teofilo Martinez. With guest musicians Justin Hayward (The Moody Blues), Phil Lynott (Thin Lizzy), David Essex, and many more, and with the success of the Hayward sung "Forever Autumn" single, it sold over 2 million copies. We have both the English copy and this Madrid copy, and the differences I see are: the lyric booklet with incredibly cool art is attached to the inside of the gatefold cover with lyrics and narration in Spanish, the cover itself is the typical light cardstock used on most European LPs, and this copy has an extra insert that includes some lyrics in English. The cover is in Vg+ shape, with a couple of bumped corners, and is otherwise in super shape, clean and shiny, NO splitting, excellent very legible spine, and really good edges with one VERY small rough spot mid bottom edge. The booklet and insert are both in great shape, with both LPs clean and shiny as well, with very little signs of play, really very nice vinyl. Please see all photos before bidding or buying. This likely won't last in our store due to its scarcity, so grab it while you can.

If you are concerned about the condition, warped or broken or whatever, we can open it for you before mailing it, and if anything is wrong, we'll notify you and you can decide how to proceed.
