Description
Over the next few weeks I will be listing titles from another really nice jazz collection.
The albums are generally in really good condition and have been carefully looked after over the years. Some although played quite a lot still sound really fine! The majority are original issues from either the UK or the USA. Some are rare early stereo pressings. Some are seminal contemporary jazz issues while there are also a number of fine British jazz releases.

This is the collectable UK Esquire first issue of the seminal early 50's small group sessions.These are sessions that date from 1950-52.

OVERALL CONDITION
SLEEVE~EX-
VINYL~looks as virtually EX~~~side 2 is fine but, although side 1 looks fine there is some surface noise on side 1, especially on track one~~from then on sounds pretty much OK!
Therefore, overall grading would be VG+~PLEASE BID ACCORDINGLY.
GRADING : I grade records firstly visually and sample aurally for overall sound quality. Should you feel I have misgraded please remember that I offer a full NO QUIBBLE refund or agreed price reduction if I am off the mark.
NEAR MINT (NM)~~a top copy~audio listening and visual grading has not revealed any imperfections. Lp is guaranteed to sound superb and shows very little sign of playing.
NEAR EXCELLENT (EX or EX+)~~careful visual inspection audio sampling has not revealed any major imperfections such as clicks or skips~~the LP should sound superb and it will be hard to find a better copy. Sleeve and any inserts/inners are in excellent shape. You will not be disappointed.
VG+~~ audio listening has revealed some limited surface noise (especially at run~in groove and towards start of each side) or the odd crackle. Visually the Lp may have light scuffs but nothing major though has obviously been played a few times. Sleeve might have light creases or minor ringwear or spine wear.
Overall the Lp and sleeve are still quite acceptable and a better copy may never come along!
STILL PERFECTLY PLAYABLE AND STILL A VERY ACCEPTABLE SOUND!!
VG~~not great and may have surface noise but I will flag up this grading rarely. Probably worth it for rarity value.
