Description
DEFCON-1 ...!! British 1st release of the soundtrack to "Wargames" (1983, dir. John Badham), starring Matthew Broderick and Ally Sheedy. Music by Arthur B. Rubinstein.
This is a library edition and has suffered some damage to the outer sleeve. Please see condition details below.
Arthur B. Rubinstein ?– Wargames (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) (1983)
Condition (refer also to notes at bottom): Vinyl: VG. Looks very clean on visual inspection. Some light hairline scuffs on both sides. Played just pre-listing and sound clarity is very good throughout, especially film dialogue and sound effects. Mild surface noise and light clicks in places, mainly at start of both sides. Plays with no skipping, jumping or sticking. A decent listening experience to a classic 80s electronic soundtrack.
Outer Sleeve (Cover): F. Colours are clear and unfaded on front, with just a few creases. An ex-library copy this has obvious cutout on top right corner. Tear from original price ticket in top left corner. 'Library copy' label still present on right. Mild scuffing of bottom edge. All corners very badly worn. Spine is split and badly damaged. Top edge only lightly nicked. Aperture in good shape. Reverse side clean overall but with dents, handwriting impressions. Some light creasing. Aperture lightly nicked here. Sticker in top right corner and light disc outline. Overall fair.
Inner Sleeve: EX. Original. White paper with curved corners on aperture edge. Blue printed text and logo and notice about ‘home taping’ on one side. Minor creases. Intact.

ITEM CONDITION - items are graded according to Record Collector definitions - see below:
MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and / or defaced.
POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.
