Description
Hello and welcome to one of my auctions! I am a record collector for over 15 years now and I think it’s about time to sell a couple records to make some room and pass it on to another collector. This week’s auctions feature my pop and progressive records that are from my own personal collection, so here we go!
On offer, a very rare 1st German pressing of Warhorse – Warhorse on the SWIRL VERTIGO label, cat. no. 6360 015.
The record is in VG condition, there is a some non-sounding hairlines and there is a sounding mark on “Ritual”, the first track on side 2. The labels are in VG++ condition, there a couple spindle marks only.
The cover is VG condition, there is some wear on the top and bottom of the spine and some wear along the opening edge. On the inside of the gatefold there is some moulding damage, caused by damp, see also the pictures. On either side on the inside, there is also a water mark.
Although this is a German pressing, these Vertigo Swirl records are in very demand ant albums are becoming very scarce nowadays. The prices for a U.K. pressing are still going up and even the German pressings are becoming very high in price. As a U.K. copy of this first Warhorse album is very hard to find, this is your chance to get an affordable 1st pressing of a Swirl Vertigo record, a real must have for all Warhorse, Deep Purple (and related), progressive music fans or Swirl Vertigo collectors!
