Description
This is a fine pressing of a great prog psych LP entitled 'Peace For Our Time - Neville Chamberlain - 30th September 1938' by Warm Dust. It features the legendary Paul Carrack. This is a stereo pressing. This LP was originally released in 1970 on the UK Trend label (catalogue no. 6480 001).
OUTER SLEEVE - The gatefold is in overall fine condition. There is some minor wear and creasing on the front and back. The top and bottom edges show some wear and minor creasing. The spine is in pretty good condition and the wording along the spine is 50% readable. The rear of the sleeve shows some minor discolouration and ring wear. There is a very minor sticker tear on the front top right hand corner but this does not detract from the overall quality of the sleeve. The inner portion of the gatefold sleeve is in fine condition and states - 'Distributed by Philips Records Limited - Sleeve printed and made by Howards Printers (Slough) Ltd.' I have graded the sleeve as VG+.
INNER SLEEVE - This is a polythene lined sleeve.It states on one side - 'PLASTIC BAGS CAN BE DANGEROUS ETC... British Patent No. 800513 & 973939 - MADE IN ENGLAND 4913 000 15801 548. It is in VG++ condition.
RECORD - The record itself looks very clean with some superficial minor marks which do not affect the quality of the recording. There is some surface noise and the very occasional pop and click which are audible during quiet and spoken passages but these do not detract from the overall quality of the record. There are definitely no jumps on any of the tracks. The labels are in lovely condition with some minor spindle marks. There is no damage to the labels on either side. The matrix numbers on the run-off grooves are as follows - side one - 6480001 A//1 12 1 - side two - 6480001 B//1 12 1. I have graded the record as VG++ and I believe that this is very fair. I try to grade everything as accurately and coservativel as possible. The winner of this auction will not be disappointed.
