Record gradings: M- (near Mint) EX (Excellent - may have 1 or 2 very fine surface markings which don’t affect play or some spindle wear) VG+ (has some surface marking and play generally unaffected although there may be some noise on the run in) VG (a lot of surface marking and some of it affects play).
