One of Blues / Gospel recordings most unique artists was Washington Phillips. His records often started with a short spoken introduction and then he would sing, accompanying himself on a dulceola - a hammered dulcimer type of instrument. Some real talent with beautiful and moving sounds.
"A" side is clean and shiney with the exception of one small needle drop which causes "pops" for 6 or 7 revolutions - during the end of the spoken introduction. Has a couple of light lams which do not affect play and are inaudible. "B" side appears to have been played more often, and has a long radial scratch from the outside edge to about the center of the playing area. This plays through with no problems, but is listed because it is very noticeable. Record is a bit of a lumpy pressing with several small raised "lumps" in the surface area - these do not affect play and are inaudible - but they too are noticeable. "A" side label shows some minor wear at the center hole , "B" side label is clean. "A" side is graded E- with be "B" side being V+. A really great recording!! Pay by PayPal.
