WAS(NOT WAS)-S/T 1981 ZE / ISLAND RECORDS DJ TEST PRESSING, NON-METALLIC CENTER, LP ILPS 9666 IN A STRONG VG+ CONDITION. CLEAN VINYL!! The killer funk filled debut from Don Was' band Was (Not Was) in this auction. This is a DJ test pressing promo that does not have any added songs but rather was released to certain radio stations to test over the radio airwaves. It contains the two hits from the record obviously and they are Out Come The Freaks & Where Did Your Heart Go. All serious fans of the band will love having this rare collectible in their collection, I hope it goes to that true fan.
The record is in an easy VG+ condition, nice and clean, plays well throughout, not a stretch to even say a VG++ on the vinyl. The cover is plain white generic sleeve with the info for the record typed out and taped to it. There is a tinge of yellowing / aging to it front and back. The original inner sleeve has a small split. A fantastic buy!!
