Rare UK xian folk/rock, recording in Swizterland. All original tracks, featuring electric guitar, acoustic bass, flute etc

The roster of obscure UK folk groups just keeps growing and growing. Water For A Thirsty Land score a winner here with their vibrant mildly progressive acoustic style that features alternating male/female vocals, guitars (including electric), piano, ?ute, recorder, violin, banjo and harmonica. A good mix of folksy traditional strums (title song), delicate moving ballads (‘Hello Light’) and edgier more basement sounding tracks (‘The Rat Race’). All originals or obscure covers with titles such as ‘Ode To An Ostrich’, ‘Are People A Problem Or An Answer?’, ‘The Hope That’s A-Comin’, and ‘This Is The Way’. Not a monster but still a very deserving entry in the genre (with a more than likely large price tag in the collectors’ market). Recorded in Switzerland.(The Archivist, 4th edition by Ken Scott).
