Description

WATER INTO WINE BAND – HILL CLIMBING – SIGNED COPY

 

Rare 1973 Myrrh Gold stereo LP, original yellow Myrrh label, catalogue no. MYR 1004: “Hill Climbing For Beginners”, with rare brown sleeve (most pressings had a white cover) plus an original insert.   On the rear bottom left corner of the sleeve is the inscription in dark-blue ball-pen, “To Peter and Sylvia” signed, “pete”, Trevor”, “Bill”, “Ray”, (all four group members - see photo).  The signatures look individual enough to be genuine but we obviously cannot guarantee this.

The group is Bill Thorp, Ray Wright, Pete McMunn, Trevor Sandford.  Tracks are: (Side 1) Stranger In The World, I Used To Be Blind, Jesus I’ve Been Walking, Hill Climbing For Beginners; (Side 2) The Start Of A Run, Song Of The Cross, Have I Seen The Lord.

The disc is in fantastic condition with just a few barely visible inaudible hairline marks.  Folded lyric inner has tiny crease on one corner.  Sleeve has minor edge creases and corner scuffs.
