This LP is just starting to finally gain some recognition..and it's well deserved. Unfortunately, Wayne passed away over a year ago, he was still residing in the toronto area, where he played music prominently in the 1960's. He started in the original Shay's, before David clayton came in, and then recorded with a psychedelic outfit called THE FRINGE. I can confirm this, as the B side of a Fringe Single "flower generation" appears on this LP, "token for your mind" is the A side of the Fringe single (but does not appear on the LP". Flower generation is full stereo here, as the single is Mono.

Now..onto the other goodness. Greg and Fergus Hambleton of A PASSING FANCY dip into songwriting for Wayne and possible double up on instruments on many of these tracks. the song "island" appears on the Passing Fancy LP, and single, and this is a drastically different version with cool hand percussion and a mellow vibe. "flower generation" is written by Greg Hambleton.

Another link to Passing fancy, Jay Telfer writes the boombastic psychedelic track "sitting on my windowsill". with a huge rave up at the end.

Another great , but obscure Canadian writer appears, Fred Keeler; writing "now that you're gone' and "third time woman". "now that you're gone" is a ripping garage track with searing acid guitars, and "third time woman" is a huge blooze rock jam. The rest of the tracks as you might have noticed are all covers , but done with originality and are all very pleasing to these ears..going a bit country, some rock, acid and then contemplatative.

Rarely shows up in any condition, here's your chance to get a nice glossy, almost new copy! THIS WAS RELEASED ONLY IN CANADA!

The time has come to reduce my own record collection. The records on offer are primarily Psych, Psychedelic, Prog, Progressive, Folk, Loner, Garage and Xian LPs from USA, Canada, OZ and NZ from mainly late 1960's to mid 1970’s. Most are collectable albums in collectable condition. All original first issues unless otherwise stated.

GRADING SCALE
MINT (M)
The record is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The sleeve and any extra items are in perfect condition.
EXCELLENT (EX)
The record shows signs of having been played but there is negligible loss in sound quality. The sleeve may have slight wear or creasing.
VERY GOOD (VG)
The record has been played many times but shows no significant deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks. Sleeve has normal wear and tear without any major defects.
GOOD (G)
The record has been played enough that the sound quality has deteriorated noticeably and may have pops and skips. The sleeve may suffer from scuffs, spine splits, ring wear and/or discoloration.
