W.C. HANDY "Father of the Blues: the autobiography of W.C. Handy" (Londin, Sidgwick & Jackson, 1957) -- 317 pages + 14 pages introduction, etc. -- includes photos, music --- with original dust jacket.

A good copy of the hardcover 1st edition, with a paper dust jacket which has a tear at the front (as shown in the attached photo) but is otherwise in excellent condition. There is a name in the inside flyleaf (not the title page). Otherwise clean and no visible markings.
