Description

We are back and selling our Record Collection of over 50 years. It includes all venues of music in 45 and LP format, from the 1940's Big Band, Country, Rock-A-Billy, Early Rock, Northern Soul, R&B, Soul, Funk, Jazz, Showtunes, Sound Tracks, etc. We also have lots of Promo's, 12" Singles, Radio Record Guides from the 60's, 45 Picture Sleeves, Magazines, Concert Programs, etc. All are original, with NO reproductions.

This week we have some RARE ,original, hard to find 45's . There are a lot of promos and obscure titles. Most of these have good value. They are all found in Jerry Osborne's "Rockin'Records"

All records are conservatively graded visually under a bright light to the best of my ability. These records have not been machine cleaned. Please use enlargement for better viewing. If there is a problem there is a 14 day return for full refund including shipping - no questions asked. Please feel free to email me if there are any questions.

GRADING: I will use Jerry Osborne's 10 Point Grading System along with the Standard Mint to Good. In my opinion Osborne is by far the leading authority on records. If you can't find a listing in Goldmine, there is a 99% chance you will find it in Osborne's Rockin Records Guide.

It is as follows:

  • 10 = Mint
  • 9 = Near Mint
  • 8 = Better Than Very Good but below Near Mint
  • 7 = Very Good
  • 6 = Better than good but below Very Good
  • 5 = Good
  • 4 = Better than Poor, but below Good
  • 3 = Poor
  • 2 = Really Trashed
  • 1 = Don't Ask

I will not be selling anything below 5. It would have to be extremely rare for me to do so.

Record Grading Criteria:

  • Sealed = Store New (10) (LP's Only)
  • Mint = (10)
  • Near Mint = Like new with only 1 or 2 insignificant defects. (9)
  • Near Mint Minus = Would be near mint except for a couple of light marks or scuffs which do not affect play. (8)
  • VG++ = Very nice record with all or nearly all of it's gloss but may have a few more light surface marks, scruffs or needle marks which do not affect play. (7)
  • VG+ = Nice, but used record that may have a series of light scuffs or scratches and plays with a few pops but no serious problems (6)
  • VG to VG- = A well-used record that sounds okay when played, but may have moderate surface noice, pops, but plays without skipping. (5)
