Carl Maria Von Weber - Der Freischutz (UK - Stereo - HMV ASD 319-321 (Stereo Library Series 754) - 1959) EX/NM/NM/NM (cover graded first)
Lovely condition copy 1st issue true Stereo 3LP set on white & gold HMV label. Featuring Rudolf Schock, Elizabeth Grummer, Gottlob Frick, Karl Kohn and Lisa Otto. Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Joseph Keilberth.
Laminated box front cover is clean and shiny with no creases, rubbing or marks. Textured rear of box is clean with no rubbing. Edges are tight and undamaged with just some very faint storage wear on the bottom. Unworn original insert is clean, unmarked and uncreased.
Original 'patents applied for' Emitex inner sleeves clean and uncreased. White and gold HMV stereo labels are clean and unworn with no spindle marks at all. Heavy EMI pressing vinyls are clean and shiny with no marks at all. Playback at high volume (needed for the dynamics of this wonderful opera) is superb.
Box set will be dispatched in strong cardboard cruciform with extra card either side for added protection.
