Often revered as one of the most important debut albums of all-time, weezer’s “blue” album celebrates 30 years with a 1-LP Zoetrope picture disc vinyl edition.
The Zoetrope features animated images from all 3 official music videos along with other animated eye candy when captured using a phone video camera in a bright room or using a strobe light set to 30Hz in a very dark room.
This edition comes with an exclusive bonus band photo lithograph.

How to view Zoetrope Imagery:
To view the animations on a zoetrope vinyl, you can use a strobe light or a strobe light app, or you can use your phone's camera:
Strobe light or app
Set the strobe light to 30 Hz to mimic the 30 frames per second (FPS) shutter. You can use a free app like Strobe Light Tachometer for Apple or LED Strobe for Android. Position your device over the turntable with the strobe light on while the record is spinning. Dim the room to increase the contrast.
Phone camera
Place the record on the turntable and set it to 33 RPM. Use your phone's camera app and set the frame rate to 30 FPS. Position your phone between 6–12 inches from the record and use a tripod to help. Point the camera at the record in a bright light. The brighter the light, the clearer the image will be. You can also adjust the focus and lower the exposure to darken the picture.
