Label:   RIVERSIDE.  Monaural pressing on medium thick vinyl.  Label is “small” blue with silver text, with deep groove.  Catalog number is RLP 12-311. 

Year:  1959.

Personnel:   Wes Montgomery – guitar;  Melvin Rhyne – organ;  Paul Parker – drums.    

Note:  This album comes from an extremely well cared-for jazz collection where the original owner cherished his albums, played them once or twice at most, and stored them under optimal conditions.  These will be some excellent opportunities for the discriminating collector who insists on top condition.

Condition: 

DISC:  Vinyl is gorgeous NEAR MINT, has been played a very small number of times, most likely once or twice, and handled with care.  Plays flawlessly with superb fidelity.  Labels are clean and pristine.     

JACKET:   Jacket is nice VG+ to VG++.  Front is beginning to show a few light dots of ring wear, and there are minor bumps at top and bottom right corners.  Spine has a couple slight cracks, but otherwise jacket is quite nice.   No writing, stickers, cutout indications, or other flaws.  Address on reverse is “553 West 51st Street, New York 19, N. Y.”  You will be hard pressed to find a nicer copy of this scarce LP.
