Description
SUPERB example of the West Coast Pop Art Experimental Band’s KILLER second album “Vol. 2” on the Canadian tri-color Reprise label, in STEREO. All five of the band’s albums are essential purchases, and this second long-player features some of the band’s best material – signature breathy popsike in “Unfree Child”, sound collage freakouts like “Suppose They Give A War and No One Comes” and a chance to stretch out a bit and jam on “Smell of Incense.” It’s a thing of beauty really, an album with all high points and no throwaways. Of course, with this band, that was standard operating procedure. Original CANADIAN pressing on the Warner Brothers Reprise tri-color steamboat label, RS 6270. Cover’s in VG++ shape with only a tiny bit of ringwear evident (much better than the condition you normally find these albums in), and vinyl looks SUPER CLEAN with only very light scuffs, plays VG++ with only slight crackle in places. This was in my collection for the past 20 years, so I can vouch it’s been handled with care (and only played a handful of times, since I make tapes of my favorite albums and play those).
