Rare private french jazz LP by unknow combo named "West-Jazz sextet", one year after gained The "Mantes jazz festival" in 1980 the band recorded this only one LP. Contain the jazz funk cut "Esquisse" remind Benson funkiest era. The samba jazz influenced "Contre-pied" with funky guitar opening, pushing horns & abstract jazz saxophone solo. Focus also on other tracks in Be bop, modern jazz & blues. Music speaks better than words… Listen to the soundclip !
